Long wait for international students ‘unfair’, universities say

   

New Zealand interest group bemoans entry delays as students wait to continue their courses

Universities New Zealand has warned that a government-mandated delay to the re-entrance of international students is “senseless and disrespectful”, and effectively pushes their return to 2023.

According to New Zealand government plans, universities will have to wait until October for the full return of international students. Jan Thomas, who is the chair of UNZ’s vice-chancellors’ committee, criticised the delay in a statement.
