"An all-in-one experience is guaranteed to international students"

The regulatory body has created EducationINdia – a one stop platform which showcases Indian higher education institutions to potential students who can easily search course programs and information on price points, scholarships and travel and visa assistance.

Students can browse a catalogue of courses without registration and only when an offer of admission is made by an institution, is the student asked to register on the portal, generating their unique EducationINdia portal ID.

The first phase of the project is completed with EducationINdia providing a basic profile for all institutions who have admitted international students as per the latest results from All India Survey of Higher Education. These institutions have now been invited to update their profile accordingly.

The next phase will involve other institutions planning on admitting international students being able to register for a profile, following a verification process.

According to EducationINdia, international students who graduate from Indian universities “tend to be high achieving professionals when they return to their perspective home countries”.

Furthermore, the new website notes that these students frequently obtain positions of seniority in governance, policy making and administration along with managerial positions in the corporate sector, especially in areas pertaining to accounting, finance and business administration.

Diversity, global awareness and interconnectedness are key assets for India as an international study destination, according to EducationINdia.

“An all-in-one experience is guaranteed to international students,” EducationINdia said.
