The Ministry of Higher Education said that the 1401 university entrance exams will start soon. 

Mawlawi Ahmad Taqi, spokesman for the Ministry of Higher Education, said that all preparations have been made for this year's entrance exam.

“Registration for the entrance exam is ongoing with the system of the National Examinations Committee. If anyone in the provinces had still to obtain the entrance examination form, they can refer to the National Examinations Office and receive the form. The Ministry of Higher Education, in coordination with the examination committee, Will announce the date of the holding of the examination,” he said.

According to the examination committee, the entrance exam process will be taken in one day in all the provinces except Kabul.

Earlier, some students had expressed concerns over the delay in this year's entrance exam.

“We were studying with great hope and enthusiasm; when the Islamic Emirate announced that the entrance exam had been postponed, this lowered our morale,” said Rana Jalal, a student.

“Although in previous years the dates of the entrance exams were announced, it is still unknown to us this year and its date has been postponed,” said Yasmin, a student.

Some university lecturers shared views on this issue:

“Failure to hold, or to postpone the entrance exam can somehow cause confusion and anxiety among students, and this can slowly become a major problem,” said Shapoor Barez, a university lecturer.

Last year, the process of holding the entrance exam started in the month of May, but the country's examination committee on Tuesday announced that the 1401 entrance exam had been postponed.
